Amsterdam is considered the “Venice of the North.” This ancient port city is well known for its elaborate water canals, ancient castles and artistic heritage. The city is very walkable with many bustling neighborhoods to explore. Its narrow cobblestone streets take you back in time to another era. A large percentage of Amsterdam’s population own bicycles as their main form of transportation, which adds to the city's fresh and healthy vibe as the city streets are full of people riding their bikes to and from work on a daily basis. The amazing preserved buildings and historical architecture can be found at every corner and inspired several of my current jewelry designs.
